The proclamation request for Paralegal
Week in North Carolina was denied due to the number of
professional career proclamation requests received by the
Governor’s Office. In place of Paralegal
Week, the Governor’s Office has proclaimed “Law Day” on May 5,
2006 for all legal professionals. To view the

After three and a half years of study
and research, the National Association of Legal Assistants has
finalized its Advanced Paralegal Certification program. If you have already
obtained your Certified Legal Assistant or Certified Paralegal
designation from this association you may be eligible to apply
for this advanced designation.
